05 Oct Salem’s Haunted Happenings Parade Featuring Project Insulin
RED Chocolate will be making a spooky spectacular appearance tomorrow at the 25th Annual Salem Chamber of Commerce Haunted Happenings Grand Parade in Salem, Massachusetts! We are delighted to partner with Project Insulin at this event to raise awareness about the cost of insulin. Did you know that 8 million people rely on insulin in the United States? Project Insulin is a Cambridge-based nonprofit that will develop a generic insulin and sell it to patients at an affordable cost. To make the insulin cheaper, they will create it themselves and cut out middle organizations that make the distribution of insulin more expensive. (click here to learn more or donate)
The Haunted Happenings Parade will take place on Thursday, October 6th, 2022 at 6:30 pm (EST). The theme for this year’s parade is “Who’s Your Hero?,” so dress up as your favorite hero! The parade will begin at Shetland Park on Congress Street and turn left onto Derby Street, then right onto Central Street, left onto Front Street, right onto Washington Street, another right onto Central Street, left onto Front Street, right into Washington Street, another right onto the Essex Street Pedestrian Mall and finishes in the Salem Common. Be sure to find Project Insulin as they make their way through Essex Street Pedestrian Mall with RED Chocolate!
