RED Chocolate believes it is extremely important to give back to humanitarian efforts all year long. This month, we will be partnering with Feeding America to match all donations made toward their organization.

ABOUT FEEDING AMERICA 

Feeding America is the largest hunger-relief organization in the United States. Their mission is to advance change in America by ensuring equitable access to nutritious food for all in partnership with food banks, policymakers, supporters, and the communities they serve. According to the USDA, more than 34 million people, including 9 million children, in the United States are food insecure. Every dollar donated to Feeding America helps distribute 10 meals to neighbors facing hunger. They work to get nourishing food from farmers, manufacturers, and retailers to their neighbors while addressing the root causes of hunger.

HOW TO DONATE

Even $1 makes a huge difference, 10 meals to be exact. Currently, when you buy any RED Chocolate item on our website, you will have the option to donate to Feeding America. If you are unable to donate, there are several free options to make a difference. First, become an advocate. Share hunger facts on social media platforms and research important anti-hunger policies. Second, volunteer at a food bank. Food banks, food pantries, and meal programs provide meals to communities, but it isn’t possible without volunteers to provide the food. Third, thank a food bank hero. Food bank staff and volunteers help millions of families every day, and kind words can go a long way.
